Almost all pepper plants have blossoms. Some even have baby peppers growing. I have already spotted a shishito pepper and I think there is a jalapeño pepper too. As far as I have experienced and seen, pepper blossoms are white. When they open, they look like stars.
However, the cayenne pepper that I’m growing is slightly different. Instead, the blossoms are purple witha white center. It’s so pretty and unexpected. I was already aware of the purple markings on its leaves, veins, and stems but I didn’t think the purple color would also be inherent in the blossoms.
